St. John Paul II described the Catechism of the Catholic Church as "a sure and authentic reference text for teaching Catholic doctrine."

In accordance with copyright regulations, our CCCSeries Apps connect directly to the Vatican website within the application. Therefore, an active Wi-Fi connection is necessary to access the Vatican links.

The Holy See has granted the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) specific rights and responsibilities regarding the Catechism. No edition of the Catechism, in any language, may be published or imported for commercial distribution within the United States without prior written permission from the USCCB.

Works intended for academic use, such as dissertations, scholarly articles, or course materials, are exempt from these restrictions provided all citations and references are properly acknowledged.

This application includes the entire Catechism of the Catholic Church along with all 16 Vatican II documents, accessible directly via the Vatican website. (Note: An internet connection is required.)
